abah left us last monday for a work trip to Japan. it got Elisya all teary eyed when he bid us goodbye. other than that they never ask for him.

as usual abah came home with great goodies for all....

much milestones this month. she is crawling on all fours now. she clap her hands upon request. upgraded to napkin size L. i put a stop to her night breastfeeding. drinks 180ml of formula, feeds on cereal twice a day. she has 4 teeth. she weighs 9 kg and is 76 cm tall.

CNY company dinner

GTC celebrates their new year with a big bang. firstly we got a box of oranges and 1kg of ba kwa. i got the substitute of prima deli cookies. then after the holidays, GTC gave out ang pows to all employees. then the have a company dinner @ peach garden. it was a spread but the highlight was the lucky draw. this is the first time i hear ppl not wanting to hear their names called out. everystaff gets a chance to win. there were more prizes than staff and 1 lucky winner get to win twice! the top prize is an iPAD and a $1000 voucher! i got myself 22nd prize of $250 OG voucher. really suits an aunty like me..

amalyna big day

she turns FIVE on 9th Feb 2011. my crowd of 6 gals help to liven up the night. 6=nenek,lia,elisya,shysta,nik&me. much food, children and toys.. zilah baked her own cake. brownie fudge cake..yummy

sore eyes

her nose was still runny. i saw her red eyes but didnt think much of it. in the car i told her again not to go to school but she insisted. armed with the doctor's letter that she is free from HMFD she entered her class. half an hour later the school called home. Lia was sent home! thanx to atok of course. her sore eyes was not welcome in school. we dug out some eye medication and never got her to the doctors. i guess she will get another week off, which makes it a month of absence...

long weekend

our party never end. bak ding and his gang came over. it has been a while since we met. the only thing left to do is to introduce wii...

it is always an eye opener when it is their first time playing wii.

CNY retreat

we barge into Hafiz&Nurul's abode for the long holiday. they made us feel comfortable that we even spent the night! even nenek joined the slumber party. their spacious home is nice and cosy. all thanx to my new sista's hospitality.

their ever breezy home and the open kitchen concept got us more hungry than usual. we made the kitchen stocks run dry.

we played a new game called WAR on TerroR. definitely not for the kind hearted. great times..

i want the games episode to continue but i think that may be the only time we spent the night. i have too much baggage and i am getting older now. that late night got my head spining the next day... hangover?

baba got a lot of books for elisya's birthday. something she always does even during her children's days. i got books for elisya too. we try to balance the wii games that he have been buying for her.

flu bug

the household have been invaded by the flu bug. all of us is infected. Lia have been out of school for 3 weeks now. elisya went to school just two days after the HFMD episode and now is out on sick leave again. i went to the doctors to get Lia to be certified safe from HFMD and get flu medication for all. my baby is suffering too. she gets really fiesty when we try to wipe her nose.

other than that every one have their hopes high for the coming holidays

five years on... she potrays a timid and righteous character. she corrects her sisters and always have to give in. she is talkative at home and school! a trait i least expected from her. she is being tutored by her baba. like any child, she wished lessons to be shorter in order to play more. she behaves well with a dash of stubborness.

school celebration

 Elisya Mirza turns 5 today. I had earlier ask the teacher for number of girls , boys & teachers. this was the reply girls:10, boys:9, teachers:10! that would mean the teachers headcount for the school not the class. considering I have another girl who will be celebrating i kept my budget to minimum and decided to give to 2 teachers only.

we had prepared the goodie packs together. this time it consists of a nice handy bag, a pencil, oreo cookies, mini TOP chocolate and CHACHA.. an M&M spinoff...

elisya is naturally excited and will hear her story when she returns home later...

naps

i tried to make them take naps at 2pm. it simply wont happen. this week they took their naps thanx to the drugs that they are on.

here we have Lia insisting on her own corner despite the queen and king bed available in the room...

HFMD

Day 1 : Slight fever
Day 2: Slight fever with ulcers on her lips
Day 3: No fever with swollen lips, red dots on her hand but no lesions.

elisya was lying down the whole day. she wont eat or drink. she was in agony. being the laid back ummie that i am. i still go to work on day 3 and have not brought her to the doctors! i went home to check on her at lunch time and she was just motion less and refuse to open her mouth or speak. later at night, Lia got at up at 4am with fever. so today both of us stayed home and brought the 2 girls to the clinic. its confirmed. hand foot and mouth disease. now Lia's got it too. she is just starting. but she is tougher than elisya. ia m certain she will get thru it. i worry for the baby but there is not much i am doing about it but wait..

Day 4: elisya is up playing wii but still not talking or eating solid foods

sleeping arrangements had been made. we got the quarantine room ready. we brought in the queen sofa bed in our bed room. we know this will take a while. elisya's MC is one week...

we were eyeing for the $500 furniture voucher. in fact, we tried for 3 days but no winnings. that actually sounded like gambling. so we seek for the maestro himself. he actually won for us... twice in one night! if we had more sim cards we would've gotten more prizes. se here they are $400 worth of CD's and perfumes

first day of school together

it was Lia's first day of playgroup. she only school's on Tue, Wed, Thur. today will be the first day, and for most of their lives going to school together.

while other kids were wailing at the school gate, mine walk hand in hand to their classroom headed by their aunt, teacher Izzah.

i dont know how she fair on the first day. but i was given a report that she never bring home her tudung & water bottle. better yet her socks were wet! you go figure..
