Run Love Run

I believe the last time we ran together was back in 2005, when we had no kids!
I came home excited with Hadirah achieving a scholarship, he uttered, Let's Run! It is drizzling?! Without warning, I stammered to gear up..
We head out and as I stretched my legs, he dash off without me. Why am I not surprise...
I fumbled with my mp3 and my cap as I try to start my jog to catch him. He is too far now...
I got comfortable in the drizzle & cool wind in my face. I jog at my speed. I see him up ahead coming my way. He did a hand gesture to repeat or something. I don't know what it meant so I just continue my jog to the LRT then head back. This should mark a distance of 1km so we would have achieved 2km run on our way back at least...
There he was waiting and even cheered a few claps for me. Then we ran side by side for a brief moment. That brief 3mins, my heart beat double fast. Beating hard as my love was next to me. That excites me like a school girl having a crush! Then again it beat so hard as I had to keep up his longer strides. So he left me once again. We are back now, cooling down, stretching and toning. Oh I am loving every second if it..

A gathering at Carol's place, WeiLing,Nicole, Liz, Vivian, all with their partners and babies. The house was crawling with kids and yapping mommies!
The durians was just a cream of the crop. First time to learn the many types of durians there were. Various colours and flavours. They love the sticky rice we made. Oh such sweet success..

Gardens by the bay

Isham is probably a tourists now.. haha
We visited the Merlion first Fullerton. There Isham told his story on how his Crystal chandelier drop and saved by his gracious hands!!
We then find our way with much difficulty to the Garden whish was near yet far! The garden was mostly pay for entry, so the only affordable one was the OCBC sky walk! awesome night view will be beautiful indeed.
We then had dinner comfortably at the food court, TEXAS chix.

my first tooth

My first tooth came out from my mouth!
This is how it happened..
I was sitting on the sofa watching tv and my tooth wiggled a bit. I push it back a bit and it broke off!!
It did not hurt and i never cry initially, until AuntyNik got to know from Lia, who was suppose to keep it a secret...!

Nik called me to say all three girls have lice in their hair! with a high pitched voice it triggered an anxiety attack on me. i knew i my head had been itching like crazy for the past week! immediate guilt set in, did i cause this havoc.. probably me during the paintball game helmets.
i couldnot sit still, 4pm i told boss of my embarassing episode and left office. i walk 10 mins to the carpark only to realize i didnt drive today! i took a cab, grab Elisya from home and head out to nearest clinic.
i thank Allah, the panel doctor was still open. I was flustered thru the regiatration, spell Eli's name wrongly, wrote my address wrongly. I really lost it! it was not the worse yet, the clinic only have 1 bot of the lice shampoo. now all of my girls and maid need this shampoo. so I registered Elisya to the other clinic nearby, the queue was crazy.
i took a walk to the sengseh. they sell the exact prescription for only $5.50!! i wanted to clean out her stock, when my thrifty and sensible girl told me 2  ots would suffice. and she was right. i also got the sikat kutu. so we clean up well at home. i took childcare leave the next day and rest with them, combing our hair regularly.
lice was the last thing on our mind in this new age and time. so AlhamduliLlah... we are recovering..

Sweet colleagues got me a huge cake. I literally jump and dance as they sang me a song!
At home, we had troubles with the dryer, but he did honour a shopping trip to compasspoint. I get a bit of shopping done on him. But the girls won with a pair of new crocs each, on top of their raya shoes...!

Primary 1

Its sealed and done with Phse 2C. I have registered Elisya in Fernvale Primary School. A school in front of the house is hard to ignore, with rising transport costs, 2 other girls in queue, and we have a great teacher in the house. All boils down to the next door neighbour hood school will do for my girls.
I just have to hide my yearn for an all girls school, maybe it can be achieved in sec school.
May allah will guide you my love, on this first few steps in life..

Buy a Phillips Air Fryer & get a coffee maker free! It was an offer that we could not resist. I had been aiming for the air fryer, while he always wanted the Nescafe Dolce Gusto. Now we can have both at only $349.
The chickens we fried in it wal thoroughly cook and not dry. It was just crispy and the layer of fat under the skin is less. The is even a tablespoon of oil drained fron the xhicken after 20mins of coooking... Super cool & healthy tooo

First Ramadhan

It was Elisya's first attempt to fast. She woke up for sahur. She had 2 sips of milk and 1 spoonful of bubur. By morning, they wanted to bathe in my bathtub but i forbid it coz they tend to drink some bathwater. Immediately, they said they change their mind about fasting. Haiz..but they remain to fast.
Both were rather steady really. By 11, Lia was demanding for milk! So she broke her fast. By 12, Elisya wants to break too. She had her meal at 12.30pm as we tried to stretch till 1pm. But then, she fast the second half of the day, with no food or drink till maghrib..!
My babies did so well, i am swelling with pride while another part of me is sad to see them grown up...
Oh they got rewarded $2 each in a green pow from their grandma for their great first attempt.

Elisya did 36 pages of math and 5 pages of english in ONE day...probably in 2 hours! Wow.. i am so amazed. Well done to both my girl and my ummi.. Love you both.

Q's maiden run

we had an unforgettable trip. especially when we were denied of entry due to black market tickets in our hands. we made no fuss on our misfortune and simply bought new tics.
the girls enjoyed themselves immensely, they are able to take more rides now. i also experience the roller coaster for the first time. but the transformers simulator ride was just AWESOME...!
again again..
