Macaron's no joke!

I failed to raise the egg whites 3 times now. I kinda get it at my fourth attempt. my aged egg whites were bad! So fresh room temp eggs did it this time. They were smooth, pretty raised evenly. But they were baseless cookies with feet?! My macaron baking mat has failed to give me a base every time. Will try to use my artisan baking mat and parchment paper today.. I have 2 days to do this right...

Lia's spelling nightmare

"Here's the story of the day............. 2day Insyirah had her Spelling & as usual as soon as she got into the car I would open her file & took out her book expectingly.Looking thru it I discovered one underlined word for Dictation.I told her that she had one word spelt wrongly.I couldn't help noticing her . her expressions changed from disbelief to disappointment to sadness.Then she started crying.Of all the words ,it's the 4 letter word ..............wrok instead of work.Crying all the way home & not responding to Atuk's  comforting words that he would give her $2.Having given her $2,the crying continued in the bedroom just for that 4 letter word that even her graduation attire didn't excite her one little bit until much later on at lunchtime .Then she became her usual self again . "
