flu bug

the household have been invaded by the flu bug. all of us is infected. Lia have been out of school for 3 weeks now. elisya went to school just two days after the HFMD episode and now is out on sick leave again. i went to the doctors to get Lia to be certified safe from HFMD and get flu medication for all. my baby is suffering too. she gets really fiesty when we try to wipe her nose.

other than that every one have their hopes high for the coming holidays

five years on... she potrays a timid and righteous character. she corrects her sisters and always have to give in. she is talkative at home and school! a trait i least expected from her. she is being tutored by her baba. like any child, she wished lessons to be shorter in order to play more. she behaves well with a dash of stubborness.

as usual we played to our hearts content. this time the adults took on an idol singing contest along with dancing lessons.. ;p

school celebration

 Elisya Mirza turns 5 today. I had earlier ask the teacher for number of girls , boys & teachers. this was the reply girls:10, boys:9, teachers:10! that would mean the teachers headcount for the school not the class. considering I have another girl who will be celebrating i kept my budget to minimum and decided to give to 2 teachers only.

we had prepared the goodie packs together. this time it consists of a nice handy bag, a pencil, oreo cookies, mini TOP chocolate and CHACHA.. an M&M spinoff...

elisya is naturally excited and will hear her story when she returns home later...

naps

i tried to make them take naps at 2pm. it simply wont happen. this week they took their naps thanx to the drugs that they are on.

HFMD

Day 1 : Slight fever
Day 2: Slight fever with ulcers on her lips
Day 3: No fever with swollen lips, red dots on her hand but no lesions.

elisya was lying down the whole day. she wont eat or drink. she was in agony. being the laid back ummie that i am. i still go to work on day 3 and have not brought her to the doctors! i went home to check on her at lunch time and she was just motion less and refuse to open her mouth or speak. later at night, Lia got at up at 4am with fever. so today both of us stayed home and brought the 2 girls to the clinic. its confirmed. hand foot and mouth disease. now Lia's got it too. she is just starting. but she is tougher than elisya. ia m certain she will get thru it. i worry for the baby but there is not much i am doing about it but wait..

Day 4: elisya is up playing wii but still not talking or eating solid foods

sleeping arrangements had been made. we got the quarantine room ready. we brought in the queen sofa bed in our bed room. we know this will take a while. elisya's MC is one week...

we were eyeing for the $500 furniture voucher. in fact, we tried for 3 days but no winnings. that actually sounded like gambling. so we seek for the maestro himself. he actually won for us... twice in one night! if we had more sim cards we would've gotten more prizes. se here they are $400 worth of CD's and perfumes

still curious with her mouth. she always has a smile on her face but will put up a fight for her toys.

she has her 2 front lower teeth. her top left teeth is also showing. clothes size 6 to 12 months are a bit snug on her. she wears drypers size M. drinks 180ml of formula and breastfed at night. feeds on cerelac once a day.

first day of school together

it was Lia's first day of playgroup. she only school's on Tue, Wed, Thur. today will be the first day, and for most of their lives going to school together.

while other kids were wailing at the school gate, mine walk hand in hand to their classroom headed by their aunt, teacher Izzah.

i dont know how she fair on the first day. but i was given a report that she never bring home her tudung & water bottle. better yet her socks were wet! you go figure..

finally! we treated ourselves with games night. so wanted it to happen but never put the invitations to work. this time we got his cousins to come by. nevermind the cousins the parents also tag along. they had a round of archery game and their mom was determined to buy a set!

the day started off with his bro having a pasta cookoff to set lunch for all. so when it comes to my place it was only finger food that sparingly got them to lick their fingers. it will never be enough i guess...

we had a game of sequence & articulate. with the korean music awards in the background, i thought khairiah was ready to pounce some dance moves but i was wrong...

As for wii, we had a round of Wii sports resort, Wipeout & RAYMAN raving Rabids... e crazy game that got us dancing...yeah

i have no doubts with Lia's day in school. she did get nervous and was rather shy. other than that she was herself. she get bored with the same toy after a few mins. she wander around the class looking for something interesting. then she spotted a dresing table and soon forgot about going home...

seri pacific

we drove up to KL. a crowd of his family and mine. we stayed at seri pacific - e club floor. the privileges got the elderly excited. we did the usual shopping at masjid india for me, bukit bintang for him and times square for the kids. this time we manage to squeeze in horse riding... i was excited but not prepared to ride with my high heels. yes it was the first for me. to go on holiday on heels. to me it is an achevement..

but we got there near closing time so only the kids got to ride. i am determined to return to titiwangsa whenever the chance. along with his brother and cousins, we had a good time bonding. especially at the club lounge, playing games that may ruin or make your image in the family.see you again KL...

again United Square delivers endless fun for the kids. "here again? we already come here right?" exclaimed Elisya. but this time it happens to be the place to meet my girlfrens. and Spongebob timeslot was just right. so the girls watched the short show without me. we queued again to get our photo taken. no photographer and our cameras only get one shot. so strict! see lah how my Lia will naturally be looking away from the camera..... haiz

so i met the gals along with their brood of boys. i didnt bring my baby today as 3 girls is enuff to make me unsettled. we ate at swensons with lots of desert. we were there for 2 hrs! 

 my girl team even went to watch Diego's show again.

then i bid goodbye to my frens and spent a fortune at toys'r'us during the christmas mad dash. it was chaotic and not cheap!

 i was invited to this dinner bash even before i started my first day. even hubby get to tag along. it was at Dempsey's OOSH. buffet along with free flow of wine! the goodie pack was a bottle of red and white wine which hubby gave away at his office xmas gift exchange... smart

getting to watch DIEGO was a bonus as we had just watched his cousin DORA just a few days back. being girls we prefer DORA. it was not as chaotic as Barney. the floor start to fill as the show started. we had ample space to sit and dance... yeah!

my hubby don't fancy me to buy same pieces so i stop since Lia was one. but it doesnt stop me from getting similar or same colour pieces for them... hee
