She has been force fed with medication for 3 weeks now. its an attack after another. still, she maintains her cheekiness..

swelling heat
Oh! she has been having high fever for 4 days. she got ulcers in her mouth, her gums and face seems swollen somehow. as usual we never thought much. we got strong fever medicine to calm her temp.
now one week later, her temp is gone but her gums got worse. syidah told me to check coz it looks bad. I notice e foul smell from her mouth. Yesterday, her drool was mixed with blood on e pillow.
on childcare leave, we were among e first to queue at pd. a short visit to e in laws, they pressured me about e late visit to seek medical help. went back to pd and waited for our turn. I explained to her e gruesome details of e week. she then showed me that her tongue was covered with ulcers, her swollen gums will bleed to e touch and stench emits from her breath. her diagnosed.. HERPES.
I was shocked. she explain this was obviously not e std one. she also mentioned I should have come earlier so Lia didnt have to suffer! those words nearly killed me. I am that lousy mom who made her girl suffer...

bubur lambuk
now is the time she learns new taste. so she will cry and demand you feed her everything you may have in your hands. unfortunately her body cannot handle the new foods....
it looks painful but it doesnt bother her at all. it seems harmless at first, 3 days later it spreads. rushed her to a paediatrician. Alhamdullilah she recovers soon enuff. no worries. only careless parents to be blamed..

my first teppenyaki meal

much milestones this month. she is crawling on all fours now. she clap her hands upon request. upgraded to napkin size L. i put a stop to her night breastfeeding. drinks 180ml of formula, feeds on cereal twice a day. she has 4 teeth. she weighs 9 kg and is 76 cm tall.

we got ourselves more than 900 wii games! wow!
looks like someone didnt make it home last night and got himself a big breakfast

CNY company dinner
GTC celebrates their new year with a big bang. firstly we got a box of oranges and 1kg of ba kwa. i got the substitute of prima deli cookies. then after the holidays, GTC gave out ang pows to all employees. then the have a company dinner @ peach garden. it was a spread but the highlight was the lucky draw. this is the first time i hear ppl not wanting to hear their names called out. everystaff gets a chance to win. there were more prizes than staff and 1 lucky winner get to win twice! the top prize is an iPAD and a $1000 voucher! i got myself 22nd prize of $250 OG voucher. really suits an aunty like me..

she turns FIVE on 9th Feb 2011. my crowd of 6 gals help to liven up the night. 6=nenek,lia,elisya,shysta,nik&me. much food, children and toys.. zilah baked her own cake. brownie fudge cake..yummy
